How we Register Organization on Skill India

1. Understanding Organization Infrastructure & Vision

To get registration done, every organization requires Infrastructural setup varies from sector to sector, But as per policies and instructions, Agencies strictly monitor Infrastructure, facility and trainer availability as per respective guidelines issued.

2. Legal Documentation

Once we are done with organization vision and infrastructural audit, We’ll move forward toward legal documentation. This part is very challenging as scrutinizing agencies look and verify all provided documents carefully. We will provide and discuss a list of documents required as per scheme in which the organization wants to register.

3. Directors/Promoters Documentation

KYC documents & DIN certificate required prior to starting the registration process on portal. Also No Objection Certificate declaring that Director/ Promoter or Organization is not black listed in any of the tender/ Contract with government agencies.

4. Registration on Government Portal

Once we gather information and legal required documents from registering organizations we’ll start registration on various government portals as discussed. NSDC

NSDC aims to promote skill development by catalyzing the creation of large, quality and for-profit vocational institutions. Further, the organization provides funding to build scalable and profitable vocational training initiatives. Its mandate is also to enable a support system which focuses on quality assurance, information systems and training the trainer academies either directly or through partnerships. NSDC acts as a catalyst in skill development by providing funding to enterprises, companies, and organizations that provide skill training. It also develops appropriate models to enhance, support and coordinate private sector initiatives. The differentiated focus on 21 sectors under NSDC’s purview and its understanding of their viability will make every sector attractive to private investment.

NSDC was set up as part of a national skill development mission to fulfill the growing need in India for skilled manpower across sectors and narrow the existing gap between the demand and supply of skills.

NSDC Mission

  • Upgrade skills to international standards through significant industry involvement and develop necessary frameworks for standards, curriculum, and quality assurance.
  • Enhance, support and coordinate private sector initiatives for skill development through appropriate Public-Private Partnership ( PPP ) models; strive for significant operational and financial involvement from the private sector.
  • Play the role of a ‘market-maker’ by bringing funds, particularly in sectors where market mechanisms are ineffective or missing.
  • Prioritize initiatives that can have a multiplier or catalytic effect as opposed to a one-off impact.

Lifecycle of Training Partner & Training Centre

With a holistic approach towards enabling a strong skill development system, the Lifecycle of Training Partner and Training Centre is aimed at building a quality assured process, meeting the required parameters of the Training Provider(s) and the Training Centre(s). To achieve this objective, NSDC provides a single-window clearance system to the Training Providers (TPs) with the following features

Transparent, unified, one-stop solution with mandated time-bound delivery of accreditation and affiliation of Training Centres Single, front-end portal interface for Training Providers, ensuring accessibility to Sector Skill Councils (SSCs) and Schemes Providing opportunity to stakeholders to perform continuous technology-driven monitoring of the Training Centres Evaluating the performance of skill development programs objectively, to foster excellence and build effectiveness while delivering competency-based training Enabling the trainees and other stakeholders to make informed choices regarding Training Centres

Qualification Packs & National Occupational Standards

NSDC aims to catalyze skilling initiatives that can potentially have a multiplier effect on the economy while striving to involve the industry in all aspects of skill development. The Quality Assurance team at NSDC focuses on enabling standardized structure and consistency across the skilling endeavors in the country. All skill training programs must adhere to the National Occupational Standards (NOS) as per the constitution of the targeted Qualification Pack (QP). To assure quality and consistency of skilling across the training initiatives for the varied job roles across the country, NSDC coordinates with the respective Sector Skill Councils (SSCs) for the development of the following deliverables basis Qualification Pack amongst other resources:

MSDE

The Ministry is responsible for coordination of all skill development efforts across the country, removal of disconnect between demand and supply of skilled manpower, building the vocational and technical training framework, skill up-gradation, building of new skills, and innovative thinking not only for existing jobs but also jobs that are to be created.

The Ministry aims to Skill on a large Scale with Speed and high Standards in order to achieve its vision of a 'Skilled India'

It is aided in these initiatives by its functional arms – National Skill Development Agency (NSDA), National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), National Skill Development Fund (NSDF) and 33 Sector Skill Councils (SSCs) as well as 187 training partners registered with NSDC. The Ministry also intends to work with the existing network of skill development centres, universities and other alliances in the field. Further, collaborations with relevant Central Ministries, State governments, international organizations, industry and NGOs have been initiated for multi-level engagement and more impactful implementation of skill development efforts.

The programme To Mainstream Aspirational Districts through Skill Development was launched by Mr. Anant Kumar Hegde , Minister of State, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) on 3rd October 2018. The programme will be implemented in 117 Districts across 28 States. The programme involves identification of challenges for skill development and co-creating customized solutions to help the districts overcome these challenges. More than150 officials from MSDE, DGT, NSDC and NSDA will be involved in field visits to the Aspirational Districts Through the programme, MSDE endeavors to facilitate strengthening of governance and institutional infrastructure for skill development.

The Mission commences on 3rd October 2018 and will be operationalised in three phases. The outcomes are expected to be announced by 26th January 2019.

  • Development of District Skill Development Plan through consultation process
  • Implementation support for the work plan to the districts

Approach and Strategy

  • Phase 1 - Identification of Challenges: An appraisal of the district skill development systems and process will be undertaken. Based on these challenges being faced by the district for skill development will be identified.
  • Phase 2 - Development of District Skill Development Plan (DSDP): The DSDP will be prepared in consultation with the District skill committee and other stakeholders.
  • Phase 3 - Implementation of District Skill Development Plan: The plan will be implemented in consultation with stakeholders and expert organizations. The expert organizations will facilitate reach for assisting districts

The Mission will be operationalised through formulation of District Skill Committee (DSC) in coordination with the State Skill Development Mission (SSDM)

Expected outcomes

  • The programme will involve mapping of resources and convergence of Schemes at district level
  • For bridging the gap between demand and supply, a differential approach to address geographic and sectoral gaps will be formulated
  • Building a skill ecosystem through enablers such as mobilization, counseling and industry engagement.
  • Real-time Monitoring & participatory appraisal for District Plans
